Fanmi

For starters, you are probably wondering what fanmi is. Fanmi is the Haitian creole translation of the word family. Fanmi isn’t your average drama. The film depicts the story of a teenager that struggles with communicating with his parents. The story takes you on a journey of the teen and gives the viewer a closer look at the main protagonist to understand the different conflicts and inner trouble that is keeping him from communicating, as well as the people he can turn to during this time that he considers family; hence the title name. This is a film I directed, shot, and edited from August 2020 to early December 2020.

2019 NSAC Competition

The National Student Advertising Competition is the premier college advertising competition that provides more than 2,000 college students the real-world experience of creating a strategic advertising, marketing, and media campaign for a corporate client. In 2019, I had the honor of being a selected member of the team. The roles that I had on the team were creating media and motion graphics for promotional material of the company. I also had the pleasure of being a presenter on the team.
